The first physical edition of Miss Interglobal was held at Novatel Hotel, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria where Nepalese delegate Sonali Sapkota won the first crown for her country as she was crowned Miss Interglobal 2022.

Sonali Sapkota hails from Kavre. Not new to the pageantry, she was earlier crowned as Miss Scuba Nepal 2020 in the finals of Miss Grand Nepal 2021 organized by RK Entertainment Group where she also earned Miss Confident and Miss Best Speech awards.

The newly crowned Miss Interglobal 2022 Sonali Sapkota’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Flechop Zemo Celia from Cameroon

2nd Runner-up – Grace Mwila from Zambia

On winning the crown, Sonali talked about her journey at the pageant as she wrote, “It all started when I missed the flight that moment, I still remember my face, my reaction, my heart was pounding. Once I reach Nigeria, my heart broke to know the truth about everything but as I am a kind of person who never stop trying, who knows that no matter what she can protect herself with the support of positivity and faith of God. So, I gathered all the courage and positivity and talked the truth.”

“So, this journey was full of frustation, tension, patience, opportunities to understand how this world run and Finallyyyyyy when I crowned as missinterglobal 2022 , I realized all these things happened to just make me realize how does it feels when you tried your best and get the victory. So I missinterglobal 2022, Sonali Sapkota very thank full for everyone who supported me in this journey”, she added.

Miss Interglobal’s aim is to give young women an equal opportunity to represent their country irrespective of their race, beliefs, traditions, color, culture, religion, language to promote the PEACH advocacy, using their talent and voice to serve humanity. The slogan of the event is lined as Unifying the world through beauty, culture and tourism.
