At the conclusion of Miss International 2019 held today i.e. 12th November 2019 in Tokyo Dome City Hall, Bunkyo, Japan, Sireethorn Leearamwat aka Bint Sireethorn of Thailand was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss International 2018 Mariem Claret Velazco of Venezuela as Sireethorn bested eighty-two other ladies to take home the coveted crown.
The country has pioneered its win in Miss International beauty pageant with its win this year. Sireethorn performed with excellence and grace at the coronation night making it a historic win for her country. Besides being exceptionally good at modelling, Sireethorn is also a pharmacist by profession. The newly crowned queen’s court included –
1st Runner-Up – Andrea Toscano Miss International Mexico 2019
2nd Runner-Up – Evelyn Namatovu Karonde Miss International Uganda 2019
3rd Runner-Up – Alejandra Vengoechea Miss International Colombia 2019
4th Runner-Up – Harriotte Lane Miss International United Kingdom 2019
Held in the last year’s format, Miss International 2019 saw the contestants being classified into the five continents where they walked the stage in their evening gowns as well as the swimsuits. The eighty-three contestants who began their journey in the pageant were first cut down to Top 15 and then to Top 8 who went through the speech section as jury took their decision.
The Top 15 included Melissa Ester Jiménez Guevara Miss International Venezuela 2019, Sireethorn Leearamwat (Bint Sireethorn) Miss International Thailand 2019, Harriotte Lane Miss International United Kingdom 2019, Kayeshia Cheung Ku Jiao Miss International Hong Kong 2019, Evelyn Namatovu Kironde Miss International Uganda 2019, Elize Joanne de Jong Miss International Netherlands 2019, Nguyen Tuong San Miss International Vietnam 2019, Jutta Anna Karin Kyllönen Miss International Finland 2019, Ivana Carolina Irizarry Fritany Miss International Puerto Rico 2019, Maria Perviy Miss International Belarus 2019, Maria Alejandra Vengoechea Cárcamo Miss International Colombia 2019, Patch Magtanong Miss International Philippines 2019, Andrea Isabel Sid Toscano Ramírez Miss International Mexico 2019, Pawani Yuwanthika Vithanage Miss International Sri Lanka 2019, Jolene Marie Cholock-Rotinsulu Miss International Indonesia 2019.
As the Top 8 was announced which included delegates from Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, United Kingdom, Colombia, Uganda, Mexico and Thailand, the hosts first announced the runners-up of the pageant. From the remaining four, who were all Asians, Thailand was announced the new queen. It was a moment of utter surprise for the diva as well as she did not expect her name to be announced for sure facing such strong competition from her peers.
