The Miss Cambodia organization will soon be hosting this year’s Miss Cambodia coronation ceremony where delegates from all over the country will fight for the opportunities to represent Cambodia at international platforms. The winner will represent Cambodia at Miss Universe 2021 whereas the runner-ups will win the opportunity to represent the country at the upcoming editions of Miss Earth and Miss International.
As the search for the national delegates has begun, the organization will be crowning three women, who will be Cambodia’s international representatives for the year 2021, Kosamak San is one of the potential beauties whose name has made it to the wishlist for the national pageant.
San, the winner of Thida Ek Sankrant Season 2 is expected to return to the Miss Cambodia pageant soon to represent as a delegate at Miss International 2021. This angelic beauty was supposed to make it to Cambodia’s national pageant last year, but reportedly due to her contract as actress, she refused to join audition. Now, since the year has passed, Kosamak will hopefully try again for one of the titles of Miss Cambodia 2021 as an aspiring beauty queen.
21 years-old San stands 170 cm tall and is pursuing a degree in English literature and works as a manager at a hotel and a translator. She is passionate about beauty pageants and feels that she has all the skills and abilities to represent Cambodia at international stage.
San is new to pageantry but she has worked as a professional model with few renowned designers and brands in Cambodia which has helped her to gain confidence and experience to be on-stage and on-camera. The people she has worked with have mentioned that she is a quick learner and picks up things she is told in order to polish her performance and is a keen listener.
San is young, talented, and confident and also believes that beauty pageants have helped in changing the way society looked at women. They have given women a platform where they feel empowered, courageous, and dedicated towards representing their country.
San is an advocate of self-love and women empowerment which is also what reflects on her social media platforms. She states that women should give themselves priority and listen to what their heart says and do accordingly. She is positive, honest, and very hopeful to win. She has also always expressed her love for her culture, traditions and values and the fact that she wants to represent Cambodia at international level.
She believes that if you want something, you should work hard to make it happen. She takes her health seriously and tries to eat clean as much as she can to maintain her body in healthy and fit condition. San had already been working on her on-stage walk, postures, angels, and body language, since last year, as she believes that these are the essential factors that a beauty queen is judged on during a competition.
If Kosamak decides to comeback this year as Cambodia’s aspiring delegate, she will prove to be a tough contender with a very appealing face and captivating features. She carries herself very elegantly and is very positive towards winning, like a true beauty queen.
