Miss Denmark Organization, through the official social media, announced that Dana Myrvig has been crowned Miss International Denmark 2022 and will represent Denmark at Miss International 2022. Dana succeeds Miss International Denmark 2019 Anna Diekelmann who competed at Miss International 2019 and placed in the Top 25.

Dana Myrvig is 26 years of age and a social educator and model. She has been working with people with disabilities for the last 6 years. Besides her daily work, she loves expressing her creativity and feelings through her modelling.

Dana’s Danish father worked all over the world. Dana was born in Mali and lived there until she was 3 years old. Her mother is Sudanese and so Dana travels to see her family there and understands the value of a family’s love and support. With her parents support and her heritage, Dana focuses on her charity which is helping disabled people and children. She has been volunteering and helping socially disabled children in to the fellowship for 5 years, which is truly a passion of hers.

Through her work she has also discovered the beautiful truth; the people with disabilities are actually some of the happiest people she’s ever seen. Dana found out that being happy is a choice and that is the awareness which she wants to spread in the world. Dana has experienced that there is a lack of social workers, so there is not always time for proper care when things have to go really fast, therefor it’s one of Danas biggest dreams to open a volunteer center for disabled people, who don’t have a place to stay or are outcasts from their families.

Miss International 2022, the 60th edition of Miss International, is scheduled to be held on 13th December 2022 where Miss International 2019 Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
