The 59th edition of Miss International is going to take place in Tokyo, Japan where the reigning Miss International Mariem Velazco of Venezuela will crown her successor at the conclusion of the event. Miss International is amongst the big four pageants in which the official delegates from all over the world participate and represent their country.

For the year 2019, Kazakhstan isgoing to make a return in the international pageant i.e. Miss International 2019. Back in 2005, Kazakhstan made its debut in Miss International competition under the delegation of Antontseva Segeevna. Since then, Kazakhstan had not sent any official representative to Miss International competition.

This year Didar Atmaja from Almaty will represent Kazakhstan in Miss International pageant. The gorgeous diva has completed her graduation in Journalism at Turan University and is also a dancer and model. She won the title of first-runner up in Miss Almaty 2018 and is not a stranger to pageantry.
