Uganda to return to Miss International after ten years under Evelyn Namatovu’s delegation

Uganda is all set to make a comeback in Miss International this year as Evelyn Namatovu has been elected Miss International Uganda 2019/2020 to represent her country in Miss International 2019. The country is coming back to the pageant after ten years and has become the second Ugandan to participate in the pageant.

The gorgeous beauty is 23 years of age and is a graduating student at Makerere University, majoring in entrepreneurship and business management. The current license holder of Uganda, Monica Akech has appointed the beauty queen to represent her country in the international pageant.

From next year, there will be a separate pageant held to crown a representative. Evelyn’s stunning beauty and her sincerity and dedication will definitely work in her favour as she will give a tough competition to the other ladies at the international platform.

Uganda sent its first candidate in Miss International in 2009 under Pierra Akwero’s delegation. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss International.
