The finale of United Kingdom Power Pageant 2018 concluded with seven crowning from the countries of Wales, England, and Scotland. The queens crowned at the pageant will be representing their respective countries at the Miss International 2018, Miss Intercontinental 2018, and Miss Grand 2018 pageants.
One of the newly crowned queens was Miss International United Kingdom 2018 Sharon Gaffka.
Sharon represented Oxfordshire at the pageant, and hails from Didcot in the same region. She studies law from the University of Essex and is currently working as an executive officer at Legal Services. She currently resides in London.
22-year-old Sharon loves doughnuts, napping, and dogs. She has varied interests and, reading, playing sport/going to the gym and spending time with friends and family are just a few of them.

Her pageant career first started in 2012, at the young age of 15. Unfortunately she didn’t place, which she found heart breaking at the time. But she later realised that the girls who did go onto win had been working harder for the title and had been competing for years before that. Since then she has gone onto compete in 6 other competitions.
These included Miss Teen Great Britain 2013 and the United Kingdom Power Pageant which she competed in 2015 and 2016. All three times she went onto place in the top 15. Both competitions were extremely tough and she was proud of herself for placing; especially, according to her, when all the girls were beautiful and deserving of the crown.
She won her first national crown back in 2014, when she was crowned Miss Crown and Glory UK. Alongside the crown she won best in swimwear, best in interview, best in fashion wear and best in evening wear. This was a turning point in her pageant career as it showed her that when she worked hard, anything was achievable.
Sharon will now represent United Kingdom at the Miss International 2018 pageant later this year.
