Miss World Jamaica 2017 grand finale is scheduled to be held on 23rd September 2017 at National Indoor Sports Centre. The reigning queen Ashlie Barrett will crown her successor to become the new Miss World Jamaica and represent Jamaica in Miss World 2017 pageant to be held in Sanya, China later this year.
Miss World Jamaica 2017 will have fifteen finalists competing for the Miss World Jamaica 2017 crown. Initially, sixteen finalists were announced, but due to the removal of Shaneke Williams on grounds of her controversial background, the list is now reduced to fifteen. Four more finalists are expected to be added to the list, and also a replacement for Shaneke, which will increase the number of finalists to twenty.

The franchise to stage the Miss Jamaica World beauty pageant is back with Spartan Health Club headed by Mickey Haughton-James. The organization had relinquished the rights to the pageant in 2013, after nearly 40 years. Fusion Consultants Limited was the franchise holder from 2013 to 2016.
Under the Fusion franchise, Gina Hargitay, Laurie-Ann Chin, Sanneta Myrie and Ashlie Barrett were crowned Miss World Jamaica in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016 respectively.
