Kyrgyzstan is all set to return to Miss Universe after two years as the country made its debut in 2018 under Begimay Karybekova’s delegation. In 2019, Kyrgyzstan withdrew from the competition after their selected delegate Elmara Buranbaeva, chose not to compete in any international pageant.
For the 2021 edition, the country is ready to make a comeback as Miss Kyrgyzstan 2020 Lazat Nurkozhoeva is all set to represent her country with utter sincerity and dedication as she has already begun to prepare for her international stint.
On her win and the opportunity to represent her country and raise the flag high, she said, “I am the daughter of the Kyrgyz people, whose beauty is a fairy tale and admired all over the world. My homeland, Kyrgyzstan, is a country rich in towering mountains, unparalleled nature, waterfalls, high glaciers, clear and beautiful lakes. My goal is to raise the flag of the Kyrgyz people for the benefit of the Kyrgyz people, to raise the flag of the Kyrgyz people around the world.”
Hailing from Bishkek, she's turning 21 years old this October and she wishes to showcase the beauty of her country at an international stage. Lazat also holds the title Top Model Bishkek 2016. The stunning beauty can definitely be a strong competition for the other ladies if she leads her preparation with sincere efforts.
Miss Universe 2021 will be held sometime later in the year as the finale date and venue is yet to be confirmed. Miss Universe 2020 Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
