The final gala of Miss Latinoamerica 2022 took place on Sunday, 27th November 2022 at Salon del Biomuseo where Mathilde Lina López of Colombia was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Latinoamerica 2021 Nikita Palma.
Mathilde Lina López is 28 years old and a professional in occupational health. She also has a master's degree in human rights. Standing 172 cm tall, Lina bested thirteen other delegates to win the coveted crown. She also holds the titles of Miss Universe Buenaventura 2021 and Miss Grand Colombia Top 5.
Mathilde won the crown for Colombia for the first time. On winning the international crown, the stunning Colombian beauty took to her official social media as she wrote, “May life reach us to fulfill all dreams, just as it has allowed me to fulfill this one. For a long, I put my efforts and hope in being able to carry the flag of my beautiful country in the best way, and today, with my heart swollen with happiness, I can look with love at the road traveled, every step I needed to be here today is worth everything. For the first time Colombia obtains the title of Miss Latin America International, and I only hope to carry with respect, dedication and love the vision of Miss Latinoamerica.”

Princess – Odalis Soza representing Nicaragua
1st Runner-up – Gabriel Cuba representing Cuba
2nd Runner-up – Ana Solórzano representing Venezuela
3rd Runner-up – Maria de los Angeles Suarez Díaz representing Ecuador
4th Runner-up – Débora Guadrón representing El Salvador
The contestants addressed the issue of education in Latin America as they presented their educational proposals from the reality of their countries. Ana Solórzano representing Venezuela was also the winner of Best Runway and Best Silueta.
