Miss Maurice 2022/2023 was held on 25th June 2022 at the Maritim Crystal Beach Hotel, Belle Mare where Nilmani Devi Hurlall was crowned Miss Maurice 2023 at the end of the event finale.

Nilmani Devi Hurlall is 23 years of age and currently pursuing a diploma in Vocal Hindustani and working part-time as a voice actress and journalist. Nilmani’s ambition is to become a well-known radio jockey and presenter, as well as a part-time vocal teacher, to pass on her experience and knowledge.

Nilmani also enjoys nature and animals. She is also a great admirer of beaches and waterfalls since it's her favorite spot to recharge when she feels down. Nilmani was also the member of the National Youth and Civic Service where she was able to build skills which increased her confidence and resilience.

Nilmani is expected to represent Mauritius at the 72nd Miss Universe and 14th Miss Supranational competitions next year in 2023 as the outgoing Miss Maurice Alexandrine Belle-Etoile is representing Mauritius at the two competitions this year.
