Bailey Anderson crowned Miss Mississippi USA 2021 for Miss USA 2021

Miss Mississippi USA 2021 was held yesterday night i.e. 13th March 2021 at the Horseshoe Casino and Hotel Tunica hosted by Greenwood Productions where Bailey Anderson was crowned the new queen. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Mississippi USA 2020 Asya Branch who went on to win Miss USA 2020 crown. Bailey will now represent Mississippi at Miss USA 2021.

Bailey was a frontrunner for the crown ever since the beginning of the competition with her stunning features and confident personality. She is a special care newborn nurse by profession. On winning the Miss Mississippi USA 2021 crown, Bailey expressed her emotions in a post captioned, “I AM GOING TO MISS USA. Words I dreamed of being able to say for an entire lifetime. God’s timing will always prevail, and I know that my season of waiting has led me to this moment. Mississippi, I am ready to serve you with my entire heart. I will strive everyday to make all of you proud. Let’s do this!”

 

 

The newly crowned Miss Mississippi USA 2021 Bailey Anderson’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Hannah Perrigin

2nd Runner-up – Katie Scannell

3rd Runner-up – Kerrie Blakeney

4th Runner-up – Anne Elizabeth Buys

Apart from the winner and her court, the Top 15 included Jacqueline Shepley, Mary Hulbert, Amelie Goss, Anna Lauren Hale, Allyssa Weyant, Kimber Smith, Emmalee Hodge, Michaela Harper, Margaret Anne McNeill.

Bailey also made her introduction on the official Miss Mississippi USA social media handle as she wrote, “Hi everyone!!!! I am Bailey Anderson, and my absolute wildest dream came true last night as I was named Miss Mississippi USA 2021. I spent this weekend with some of the most amazing women in our state, and I am honored to be able to represent them all this year. Words simply cannot even begin to describe the emotions that I am feeling, and I truly was left speechless last night.”

 

 

“To see a dream that I have worked so tirelessly and wholeheartedly for come true is just so surreal for me. God’s timing will always prevail above all else, and I know that my season of waiting has lead me to this moment. I feel prepared and ready to not only hit the Miss USA stage but also to serve my home state with my entire heart. None of this would have ever been possible without my amazing support system. A big thank you goes out to everyone who has been a part of this journey through the years. I am the woman that I am today because of you all who believed in me and my abilities even on the days I did not”, she added.

Along with Bailey Anderson, Mattie Grace Morris was crowned Miss Mississippi Teen USA 2021 as she becomes the official representative of Mississippi at Miss Teen USA 2021. McKenzie Cole, Evans Rhett, Rachel Russell and Mackenzie Taylor were adjudged as the first, second, third and fourth runners-up respectively.
