Miss Moldova 2019 held its grand finale night on 23rd May 2019 in Chisinau where Elizaveta Kuznitova was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Moldova in Miss World 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Moldova 2018 Tamara Zaretcaia.

From Tiraspol, the 19-year-old stunning beauty bested twenty seven other ladies to win the national crown. With her immense talent and gorgeous beauty, she took everyone’s heart away. Elizaveta is currently a varsity cheerleader.

The newly crowned queen Elizaveta Kuznitova’s court included –

First Runner-Up – Felicia Ursan

Second Runner-Up – Veronica Gojan

The newly crowned Miss World representative took to her social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “I am overwhelmed with emotions and I want to thank every person who was involved in the organization of Miss Moldova 2019, individual words of thanks to my team and the people whose support I felt throughout this time.”

She went on to continue, “Let this post be another proof that you can achieve the most unexpected results through hard work on yourself. I am an ordinary girl who grew up in a simple family, went through a certain series of difficulties that shaped me as a person. Now my life has changed dramatically. I do not cease to be surprised and pleased. I am happy to have the opportunity to represent my favourite country in Miss World 2019.”

Elizaveta proved that if one does not give up and work hard, achievements can be accomplished. Going through difficulties in life and being raised in a simple family shaped her into the person she is today.  

Moldova is yet to win its first ever Miss World crown. Last year, the country failed to win a spot in the Top under Tamara’s delegation.
