The Miss Monroe pageant, which is a local prelim of the Miss Louisiana and Miss America pageant, is scheduled to be held on 21' November 2015 at 2:00 PM in Neville High School Auditorium, New York. Alana Rae Wilson is currently reigning as Miss Monroe. The organization provides young ladies around Louisiana with scholarships to continue their education and an avenue to showcase their variety of talents. In this edition, eight gorgeous ladies are vying to win the pageant.

Habitually, Miss Monroe winners make Top 10 or Top 5 at Miss Louisiana, so the pageant is going to be absolutely enthralling. The organization seeks to crown a lady who could be a spokesperson for her city. In an interview with Knoe 8 News, Gaundhi Hays, the Executive Director of Miss Monroe Pageant, revealed that the audience interested to watch the live pageant will also get an opportunity to donate their prom dresses, which will be used in Cinderella project by the organization in March. The Miss Winner will receive Cash Scholarship and other prizes, the Teen Winner will be awarded with Cash Scholarship and the 1st Runner-ups will also receive a handsome scholarship. Being an open pageant, Miss Monroe organization stipulates all the contestants to raise at least $100 for CMN by November 16, 2015.

Miss Monroe pageant had been instilled 7 years back, and in its eighth year, it is going to be even grander.
