Miss World Dominican Republic 2018 hosted its coronation night on 6th October 2018 where twelve gorgeous ladies competed for the national title and Denise Romero was crowned the new queen. She will now represent the Dominican Republic in Miss World 2018. Denise succeeds and was crowned by Miss World Dominican Republic 2017 Aletxa Mueses.
Denise Romero represented La Altagracia at the finale. Denise is an ambassador for the Humanity Unified organization which aims to help people in developing countries through education, food security, poverty alleviation and entrepreneurship. She uses her platform as a responsibility to speak about real issues, share stories, be educated and ways we can all come together and make a difference.
At the finale, Denise also got a surprise visit from the children belonging to the foundation and it was a magical moment for the queen as well as the audience.

Twelve ladies competed for the national title - Denise Romero, Wanda Gutierrez, Yaliza Burgos, Lawis Concepcion, Stephanie Abreu, Nicolle Rosario, Lournid Suarez, Chainy Salcedo, Luz Reinoso, Stephanie Bustamante, Jozailine Maria Ramos and Erika Capellan.
In the country’s representation at Miss World, Mariasela Álvarez, Miss World Dominican Republic 1982, won the first and the only Miss World title. After that, no delegate has won the coveted title till now.
