Han Thi was crowned Miss Myanmar World 2018 on Saturday night, 14th July 2018, during the finale of the pageant at the Yay Kuu Amplified Broadcast Centre, Yangon. Han succeeds and was crowned by the outgoing Miss Myanmar World 2017 Ei Kyawt Khaing. She will now represent Myanmar at the Miss World 2018 pageant at Sanya, China, later this year.
The 21-year-old Han is from Yangon and is a student at Stamford International University. She is an actress, model and singer. Han Thi is not new to the pageant world; in 2014 she was appointed Miss Supranational Myanmar 2014 and represented Myanmar at the Miss Supranational 2014 pageant, placed in the Top 10, and won the continental title for Asia and Oceania. Han is a fluent speaker of Mandarin Chinese, Myanmar, English and Korean languages.
