Miss Namibia 2019 is going to host its grand coronation night on 6th July 2019 as it revealed the names of the semi-finalists who will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Namibia in Miss Universe 2019. With all the beauties revealed, there is one contestant who has stood out amongst the crowd and according to us has the potential to win the Miss Universe Namibia 2019 title.

Yana Haenisch, looking closely, seems to be an amalgamation of Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman’s features. Already having a ‘Miss Universe’ face, Yana is sure going to be the toughest competition for the other contestants.

At such a young age, Yana has travelled to various countries to pursue her career in modelling after completing her high school. She has lived in Italy, Germany and United Arab Emirates during a time span of two years and has always been proud of her roots. She has travelled to more than 20 countries and gained international exposure which for sure has widened her horizons. With all of her experience, as she truly believes, she is ready to compete at an international level.

Currently, she is pursuing her graduation while working in the real estate industry. She quotes, “I am currently pursuing a career within the real estate industry, while studying my part time Bachelor of Commerce. My distance learning degree takes commitment and a willingness to succeed, which I can apply to my role as the titleholder for the year of representation.

As her advocacy, Yana wishes to focus on on the impact and seriousness of the high unemployment rate of the Namibian youth in our country, which is currently at a high of 46.10 %. Through her reign, if she becomes the winner, she will try to do her best to improve this situation in her country. We truly believe that she can not only win the national crown but also represent her country with sincerity and dedication at the international stage of Miss Universe as well.
