The Miss Nebraska USA organization finally held their grand finale on 6th January 2018. At the conclusion of the finale, Lex Najarian was crowned the winner, who has now earned the right to represent Nebraska in Miss USA 2019 to be held sometime in May this year. If Lex manages to win the national title, she will have gotten the prestigious chance to represent the United States in Miss Universe 2019.
Lex is 23 years of age from the state of Nebraska who is a Fitness Nutrition Specialist by profession for which she has already received her certification. She also provides online training through her site Nutrifit by Lex through which she intends to educate guide and encourage people to lead a healthy life. This profession works out perfectly for Lex as she was a former athlete. Due to her healthy lifestyle, she also works as a model every now and then. Lex graduated from the University of Nebraska where she got her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Lex took to her official Instagram account to announce the news of her win and wrote, “Alright woah! How cool, crazy, exciting, and unreal is this?! Last night was the Miss Nebraska USA pageant and I was lucky enough to be chosen to represent Nebraska in the next Miss USA pageant! To all the other girls I was lucky enough to meet this weekend, you all taught me so much about confidence and beauty and I hope to see you all in the near future! ”
Lex’s was a long post where she thanked everyone who contributed to her journey towards the crown, starting with her mother and father who she said supported her since the day Lex told them about her plans. She then went on to thank her brother, her boyfriend and her boyfriend’s parents. And last but not the least, all the people who wished Lex luck, before the show.
The new American beauty queen is from the same state as Miss USA 2018 Sarah Rose Summers, who was initially crowned Miss Nebraska USA 2018, but after becoming the national winner, her duties were assumed by Bree Coffey, who crowned Lex Najarian. Lex, therefore, has a lot of bets riding on her shoulders to make her state proud like Sarah. With Lex’s long list of achievements, there is no doubt that she will be able to perform just as good.
