During the coronation ceremony of Miss Pennsylvania USA 2019 held on 2nd December 2018 at the Hyatt Regency, Pittsburg, Kailyn Marie Perez was crowned as the winner. She will be representing Pennsylvania in Miss USA 2019 to be held next year. If she manages to win the national pageant, she will have earned the right to represent the United States in Miss Universe 2019.

Kailyn is 27 years of age from the region Camp Hill. She was one of the few self-sponsored candidates for the crown, with some help from Camp Hill Dentist Family Dentistry. She is a TV host as well as a model by profession and used to be an excellent ballerina in the past. Kailyn is a law school graduate. So it's not just her beauty, but her academic capabilities as well which helped her become a strong candidate in the pageant, ultimately leading to her win.

Upon winning, Kailyn took to her social media to share the news and wrote, “This last weekend was the absolute best of my life. I am honoured and beyond humbled to announce that I am your Miss Pennsylvania USA 2019! I am so blessed to have been surrounded by the most incredible, intelligent, passionate, giving and beautiful women this weekend, who were all so deserving of this crown! Thankful will never be a great enough word for this moment. I love you all!
