Since its inception, the Miss Grand International pageant has never left us feeling disappointed or thwarted with any disgust. The only change of mind that this contest has created with us is only developing more and more fondness towards it. Miss Grand International, with a new lot of contestants for 2015 also introduced a new angle to the pageant. The organisation made an official announcement on its Facebook page recently, stating that the winner of the Miss Popular Vote this year will automatically be promoted to the Top 10 finalists list.

The 2015 edition of Miss Grand International pageant is scheduled to be held on October 25’ 2015 and we can feel the zeal and excitement already. In addition to the Miss Popular Vote, other Special Awards are to be given are - Best in Swimsuit, Best Social Media, Best in Evening Gown and Best National Costume. The reigning Miss Grand International is Lees Garcia, Miss Grand Cuba who was crowned on October 7, 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand.
