The 2023 edition of Miss Qazaqstan was held at the Republic Palace in Almaty on 14th December 2023 where Sabina Idrissova crowned Miss Qazaqstan 2023/ Miss World Kazakhstan 2024 as she became the official representative of Kazakhstan at Miss World 2024.
Sabina Idrissova is 21 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. Sabina is actively studying Kazakh and English with tutors, and wants to try her hand at acting, so she plans to get an acting education. She graduated from Selezneva School to become a professional ballerina and after which she worked for several years at the ‘Astana Ballet’ theater.
Being a part of the national pageant, Sabina’s journey has been full of experiences and opportunity. “It is a new, beautiful, exciting adventure, because any experience is the key to a new you. Participation in this competition was unexpected for me, I was invited to participate at the most opportune moment in my life, when I returned from Astana, having completed her career as a Bellerina. I am a brave, responsible and purposeful person, and I am fascinated by the upcoming new experience with different transformations”, she quoted.
Also at the finale, Madina Almukhanova was crowned Miss Universe Kazakhstan 2024 and Ayaulym Alimkhaliyeva was crowned Miss Earth Kazakhstan 2024 as they became the official representatives of Miss Universe 2024 and Miss Earth 2024 respectively.
The official panel of jury responsible for crowning the next winner included Aiday Isaeva - model, winner of ‘Miss Kazakhstan – 2013’, President of Miss Kazakhstan; Tomiris Kakimova – Model & Winner of Miss Kazakhstan 2022; Erkebulan Toktar - Kazakhstani Sportsman & famous actor; Jania Zhurinskaya - The star of the Kazakh youth series, influencer & blogger; Arzubek Vonama - Kyrgyzstani clothing designer, founder of Vonama fashion house; Angela Peresypkina - Professional model; Madina Saduakasova - Kazakhstani pop singer; Sergey Tyrulnikov - Kazakhstani wrestler.
Sabina succeeds Tomiris Kakimova Miss World Kazakhstan 2023 who is preparing to represent her country at Miss World 2023. Miss World 2024 will be the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant which will be held next year where the winner of Miss World 2023 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
