After being crowned as Miss Rhode Island USA in 2021, Karly took to social media to share her happiness and heartfelt gratitude. She mentioned, "I spent the last few hours trying to find the words to describe this feeling and I don’t know if I will ever be able to. I’m beyond honored to be your Miss Rhode Island USA 2021. I’ve thought about this moment since I was 17, and although it took a few tries, the journey to get here shaped me into the woman I am today. I’ve been fortunate enough to have the most incredible mentors along the way and to have met the most uplifting, smart, beautiful women competing this weekend. That made it the best experience I could’ve asked for. I feel like I have so much more to say and so many more thank you’s that are owed, but for now, I’ll just say first stop, Cancun with the ‘21 state titleholders, next stop Tulsa, Oklahoma for MISS USA! "

Miss Rhode Island USA 2021 Karly Laliberte’s court includes:

First runner-up: Mykala Green

Second runner-up: Katie Bergantine

Third runner-up: Elaine Collado

Fourth runner-up: Kelsey Oliveira

The stunning queen has dreamt of representing the USA on the Miss Universe stage since she was 17-years-old and has worked hard and dedicatedly towards achieving her dream. She was adjudged as the runner-up to Miss Rhode Island USA 2018 Daescia Demoranville and competed at Miss Rhode Island USA 2019 where she finished in Top 11. Karly mentioned that pageantry has taught her to always go after what she wants without fear of failure or rejection, which is why she has worked so hard to live her dream.

Karly is a beautiful, positive, focused, and confident woman who aims to represent the USA at Miss Universe 2021 and will start preparing herself for the final competition. She uses her experience to encourage others to believe in themselves and accept themselves as they are. She mentioned in one of her posts, "It is okay to want to work on yourself, but don’t forget to love yourself along the way. You deserve to be celebrated by others, and celebrate yourself, for every success and failure. "

The diva is extremely grateful for the experiences she has had and after she was adjudged as the runner-up to Miss Rhode Island USA 2018, Karly shared, "I’m my own hardest critic and can tend to be a perfectionist in my personal endeavors. Believe it or not, a pageant filled with sparkles and glam was a way to push me outside of my comfort zone of always feeling like I had to be perfect, and I truly found peace in loving myself WHILE bettering myself. "

Karly is going to start her preparations for Miss USA 2021 and is going to stay determined to win the crown and represent the USA at Miss Universe 2021.

Also at the finale, Sydney Jaiswal was crowned Miss Rhode Island Teen USA 2021 and will now represent her state at Miss Teen USA 2021. Carissa Tillinghast, Giavanna Arakelian, Sage Fullen, and Sophia Pachis were adjudged as the first, second, third, and fourth runner-up at the end of the event finale.

Congratulations queen!
