Miss Scotland 2018 is in full swing with its contestants being recently revealed. The coronation night of the competition will be held on June 15th at the Corinthian Club in Glasgow, where Miss Scotland 2017 Romy McCahill will crown her successor.

Jennifer Reoch will once again be hosting Miss Scotland 2018 final, and Emily Middlemas will also repeat history by performing at the coronation night. The finalists just met as they took part in a special photo shoot for Ayrshire Magazine.

However, it remains very important for the audiences to know the finalists before they can choose their favourites, and the Miss Scotland organization is helping us with it. They have revealed information about the finalists that you might find quite enticing.

So let’s find out more about Shelby Mckissock from Ayr, without further ado.

Shelby chose the charity Cancer Research UK because it is so close her heart as her mum was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago. It destroys so many lives all over the world so she wanted to take this chance and help raise funds towards this charity.

She has completed a ‘walk all over cancer’ in March and had to walk 10 thousand steps each day for the month. She has also signed up for the 5K ‘race for life’ on the 20th of May in Glasgow!

Shelby has a fundraising account with Cancer Research on her social media. She is also holding a charity football match with friends and family at her local football pitch in the upcoming weeks, as her brother is a football coach and will be helping Shelby.

Now that she is a Miss Scotland finalist Shelby thought it would be a challenge to do a skydive in June! She has made a Just Giving page for the skydive which is also on her social media.

Shelby has done some truly phenomenal work and seems to have genuinely great ideas for the future. Will Shelby be becoming your favourite Miss Scotland 2018 finalists soon?
