Eileen Feng was crowned Miss Singapore International 2018 on 29th July 2018. She beat 6 other finalists to win the crown. Eileen succeeds and was crowned by Miss Singapore International 2017 Kylie Yeo. She will now represent Singapore at the Miss International 2018 pageant in Tokyo, Japan on 9th November 2018.

After winning the pageant, she posted a message on her social media account, saying, “Yesterday night concludes our journey as fledging pageant candidates to queens in our own rights!! Till now, the moment that they announced my name is still surreal and it all felt like a dream, but I’m immensely grateful for all the opportunities and lessons I’ve had the honour to experience thus far. I’m also overjoyed to get to know so many amazing, strong ladies who are fantastic role models for one another!! Thank you to Janice, O-Kay-le, Eddy Rosdi and the SWA team for sacrificing so much of your time to groom and train us!

She also thanked her friends Nerrine, Xinpei Kat, Vivian, Vanessa Genevieve, and Ashley expressing the amazing time she had with them. She went on to thank the past winners for being such great role models for everyone to emulate and loading the candidates with well-meaning advice every step of the way.

She concluded by saying, “Last but not least, I’m forever indebted to the most beautiful and inspiring woman in my life, my mother; she’s always let me have free rein of my life and believes in me even when I don’t. The journey doesn’t end here (I hope!!) and it’s definitely not an easy one but I’m so thankful to go through with each and every one of you.”

Singapore has never won a Miss International title and if Eileen Feng manages to bag the title of Miss International 2018, it would pioneer the country’s win at the pageant.
