The diva aspires to be Miss South Africa 2020 because she feels that she wants to be a positive and powerful example for the women who look up to beauty pageants and inspire the women of the world to work hard for their dreams and goals.

Tamlyn states that the global pandemic is full of certainty but if she is sure of something is the belief, she has on herself. She mentioned that she has been working very hard to participate at Miss South Africa but for the last 5 years, she felt that she is not ready but the outbreak of the pandemic in the world made Tamlyn realize that the world is full of uncomfortable situations and one has to keep working hard for the comfort desire for. She has worked with few designers, brands, and photographers in South Africa which has helped her to work on her skills and abilities to be a better beauty queen in future. She likes to challenge herself because she believes that a good challenge helps her to work harder and she is more focused.

The diva is very passionate about being at a position where she can inspire other young women to work towards their goals and dreams. She also mentioned that she is very thankful to her parents, friends, and entire family for being supportive and motivating towards her future. Tamlyn wants to use the platform of Miss South Africa 2020 to amplify and empower the voices of the young women who are supressed and not allowed to breathe under the blue sky. She feels that if she can inspire even a one young woman then she’ll feel that her work is done. She mentioned, "Here's to strong women. May we know them, we may be them, may we raise them."

The diva is gorgeous, has beautiful smile and curly hair which adds up to her beauty. She feels blessed and excited for the journey that would come ahead once she gets selected by the organization. She is confident, beautiful, and very determined to get selected to compete at Miss South Africa 2020 and be able to win a chance to represent South Africa at international beauty pageants. She is working on her on-stage walk, body postures and angles and most importantly on her interview skills which is very essential part of any beauty pageants.
