The Miss South Africa organization has begun its search for the new Miss South Africa 2021 with the last date for entering being 24th June 2021. The winner will succeed Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida, who will represent the country at Miss World 2021 in December.

The organization has been receiving a lot of applause for this year’s edition. With many names entering the competition, Carmen Piater is another fresh name that has been emerging as one of the favourites as she announced her official entry for the title.

This passionate 20-year-old hails from Pretoria and is currently studying her BA in Graphic Design who is also a qualified professional dancer. She also runs her own graphic designing venture, Design Nure. Carmen is ready to lead the country with great women who having the influential and motivational power to guide the youth and to create an extraordinary next generation.

Announcing her official entry, Carmen took to her social media, where she wrote, “Ever since I was a little girl I have always admired the Miss SA queens. I promised myself that one day I would take that same leap of faith. 10 Year old me would be so proud of me today.”

Ever since she the entries were opened for the next queen, Carmen had been surfacing as a fan favourite for the title but after she confirmed her official entry she has been receiving immense love and support. “I am so overwhelmed by the support everyone has shown on my entry for Miss SA 2021. I appreciate every comment so much,” she added as she feels swept by the appreciation.

Miss South Africa organization stated that they are excited to be back and provide a leading voice to not only the winners but also to all the young entrants and finalists who join the beauty competition as a part of their empowerment platform. This year’s slogan is "Woman who will not be silenced, who will speak boldly and echo their voice so that others can be heard! To the woman who doesn’t want to be good but is ready to raise the standard and become great! "

Carmen has commenced her journey on the road to Miss South Africa 2021 and looks like a strong card in the deck for the title. She is a talented, confident and a potential contender, who is dedicated towards representing the women of South Africa like her predecessors at the international platform.
