Four months after being crowned as Miss South Africa 2021 and two months after successfully being adjudged as the second runner-up at Miss Universe 2021, Lalela Mswane has officially launched her campaign ‘Be Ready’, pursuing her advocacy targeting the unemployed and assisting them to be ready.

The diva took to her social media to share a detailed video behind the idea and how the project works. To address youth unemployment in our country, Lalela hopes to inspire and motivate those seeking job opportunities to rather become job creators.

Be Ready is a step-by-step entrepreneurial programme that will enable the youth to start their own business. The programme will shed light on important topics such as knowing what is needed to start a business, how to draw up a business plan, how to register your own company, what is their intellectual property, how to do market research and market their product/service, how to amplify their distribution/offering with different supply chains, etc.

“I hope to invite successful entrepreneurs and business leaders to join my monthly sessions that will address these different topics,” she shared. On the last Friday of every month, an online episode will be released on Lalela’s IGTV and Miss South Africa’s Youtube channel.

She also added, “I’m so excited to simultaneously embark on my own entrepreneurial venture using her Be Ready programme. Implementing the different steps, I hope to have my own successful profitable business at the end of the programme.”

Most recently, the diva was recently appointed as Miss Supranational South Africa 2022 as she will be representing the country at the 13th Miss Supranational pageant. The 24-year-old professional model, ballerina and LLB graduate who hails from Kwa-Sokhulu in Richards Bay hopes to once again bring pride to the country and continent at Miss Supranational.

Congratulations quuen!
