Miss South Africa 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida has departed for Puerto Rico as she is all set to represent her country at the 70th edition of Miss World as Toni-Ann Singh of Jamaica will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

On Saturday, Miss South Africa organization took to their official social media as they posted a series of pictures of the beauty queen at the O.R. Tambo International Airport. Musida definitely looked gorgeous in her departure look. They wrote, "Hello, World! Here we come! Puerto Rico, are you ready for some Shudu magic?"

Shudufhadzo also took to her official social media as she shared that she is excited and grateful to represent the country. "The time has finally come, and to say that I'm excited is a complete understatement. I'm so incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent the country that raised me, who gave me a voice and who made me the woman I am today on the Miss World stage. I carry each and every one of you in my heart as I embark on this journey of a lifetime, and I humbly ask that you please join me”, she wrote.

Shudufhadzo has huge shoes to fill as she has the responsibility to perform as well as Rolene Strauss, Anneline Kriel and Penelope Coelen who won the Miss World title in 2014, 1974 and 1958, respectively.

This year, the swimsuit competition (Miss World Beach Beauty) will return after a five-year hiatus. The edition was originally scheduled for the end of 2020 but postponed due to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
