Miss South Africa 2022, 64th edition of Miss South Africa, will be held in August 2022. Lalela Mswane of KwaZulu-Natal will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The winner will represent South Africa at either Miss Universe 2022, Miss World 2022 or Miss Supranational 2023.

The organization announced Top 30 delegates who have begun their journey at the national contest. In a series of features, lets know more about these delegates. Dr. Bethany Damonse, from Eastern Cape, has made it to Top 30.

Bethany Damonse is 24 years of age and comes from Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape and is representing that province. However, she is currently doing her community service year as a veterinarian in Pretoria. She enjoys the variety that life has to offer and is an inquisitive person always seeking out new recipes or hiking routes.

Bethany’s dream is to use natural resources and innovative ideas to make sustainable development goals more achievable for all and create a healthier environment.  On making it to Top 30, Bethany took to her official social media as she wrote, “I am so overwhelmed with excitement and disbelief right now! Thank you to @official_misssa for giving me the opportunity to rise to this amazing journey???? Most of all, thank you to absolutely every single person that took the time to like, share and support me on every platform. I am immensely grateful.”

Bethany is definitely a beauty with brains who is talented and has strong oratory skills. If she prepares her stint with sincerity and dedication, Bethany will definitely be a strong contender for the national crown.
