Miss Universe South Africa 2023 Bryoni Govender has launched her advocacy campaign ‘Her Way Out’ ahead of her participation at Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador. A graceful, ambitious and courageous beauty queen, Bryoni will try to win the fourth crown for Miss Universe.

With a bachelor’s of law degree from the University of Johannesburg and an attorney by profession, Bryoni is going to work as an ambassador for women’s rights during her reign and bring it to the international stage as a part of her advocacy campaign.

Her campaign ‘Her Way Out’ objective is to take up the cudgels on behalf of women everywhere and help educate them on their legal rights. Govender has also teamed up with the social impact team at global law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright to focus on, among others, access to justice projects.

Miss South Africa organization also wrote, “This campaign will traverse the country, educating women on their legal rights and empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives and take back their power. It will ensure meaningful access to justice for victims of gender-based violence by providing legal services and psychosocial support, empowering communities and engaging national authorities.”

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, will be held at the National Gymnasium in San Salvador, El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
