Miss South Africa organization, through their official social media, announced the Top 12 finalists who have moved on to compete at the final leg of the competition as the finale will be held on 13th August 2023. The winner will go on to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2023 and/or Miss Supranational 2024.

In a series of features, lets know more about the Top 12 finalists which consists of stunning and talented beauties. Homba Mazaleni is 23 years of age and hails from Gonubie, East London in the Eastern Cape. She is a qualified sport scientist and student intern at the University of the Western Cape.

On making it to Top 12, Homba took to her official social media as she wrote, “I am absolutely thrilled and incredibly grateful to each and every one of you who voted for me. Your support means the world to me, and I cannot express how thankful I am for your belief in me.

Making it to the top 12 of Miss SA is a dream come true, and it wouldn't have been possible without your unwavering support, encouragement, and votes. This journey has already been a whirlwind of emotions, hard work, and personal growth, and I am honored to have reached this milestone.”

Homba pursued Biokinetics to help people recover from injuries and sickness, and it gives her great satisfaction to help them gain the tools they need to pursue their own goals and passions. She wants to use her voice to help actively transform the landscape of what people have deemed to be equal accessibility to health and wellness. Breaking boundaries, Homba has surely shown tremendous potential to be strong contender for the national crown.
