At the conclusion of the grand finale held at the Freedom Hall in Juba, South Sudan, Christine Arual Longar was crowned as Miss South Sudan 2017 and she will now represent South Sudan in the Miss World 2017 competition scheduled to be held on 18th November 2017.
At the same event, Hellen Cholhok Machiek and Lenzie Akuch Biar were announced as the first and second runners-up respectively whereas Grace Piath Malual and Sophia Arek Gai were declared as the third and fourth runners-up.
Christine is 21 years of age and works in administration. She is also a breast cancer awareness advocate. Apart from modelling, she loves to dance and has also won many awards in dancing. Just after winning the title, her friends congratulated her by posting a picture on Facebook with the caption, “You are my sweetest buddy, celebrate your victory to the fullest and tomorrow I want my price out of the bet as I told you would make it sweet girl”.

Arual managed to emerge as the winner after beating more than six other competitors. Miss World South Sudan 2016 Akuany Ayuen officially passed the crown to her and gave her best wishes for the future competitions.
