The third edition of the imperative Miss Southeast Asian finale is set to be held at Gedung Olahraga Kab. Rohil Batu 6 in Bagansiapiapi City, Indonesia on May 28. It will be the first time that Indonesia is hosting Miss Southeast Asian, and measures have already started to make it an enormously compelling and exciting contest in 2016.

Bagansiapiapi is a city in Riau province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The city is the capital of Rokan Hilir Regency in the Riau Province and is located on the east coast of Sumatra, on the Rokan River delta across the strait west of Malacca and near Dumai.
Known as the world’s second biggest fish producer town after Bergen in Norway before World War II, Bagansiapiapi City is famous for products such as coconut palm, fresh fish, briny fish, belacan and other sea products. The city is also relying more on trading and cultivation of swallow nests, sold for the famous Chinese delicacy, birds’ nest soup. Burning Ritual is the famous tourism attraction, usually held on the 15th and16th day of the 5th month of Lunar Calendar every year.
