Miss Supranational 2019 held its National Costume Competition a few days ago where the delegates paraded on the stage in their tradition costumes as they represented their culture and heritage. One of the most sought-after competitions in every pageant, the National Costume Competition emphasizes on how well the delegates represent their country’s tradition and culture.
Miss Supranational Mexico 2019 Dariana Urista Soto won the Best in National Costume award. The stunning beauty looked ever so gorgeous in her traditional costume which represented the indigenous people of her country. Balancing a head gear and huge gear attached to the back, Dariana emerged victorious with her confidence and amazing walk.
Miss Supranational Panama 2019, Krysthelle Barretto was awarded the 2nd place in the competition. Krysthelle’s national costume’s theme was “Treasure on the Conte Site”. The model took her Instagram to share the glance of her costume. She explained that the costume has more than 300 white, gray and black pheasant feathers with rooster on the tip. It has a delicate touch of a lady pheasant with immaculate white rooster feathers that serves as a perfect frame for more than 100 intense yellow and white large ostrich feathers. The costume was designed by Aristides Omar Carrasco.
Miss Supranational Indonesia 2019, Jesica Fitriana was awarded at the 3rd place in the competition. Jesica Fitriana’s national costume promoted Batak customs. The costume’s theme Boru ni Raja is the work of Jember Fashion Carnaval Ayu Davira designer. The designer explained that the costume was inspired by the strength of Batak women. According to the designer, the costume was suitable for Jessica because it was in line with the inspiring character of the woman who graduated from ITB. Jessica is gentle, has strong determination to make Indonesia famous in the International world.
The other two spots were acquired by Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago. The main event Miss Supranational 2019 will be held on 6th December 2019 in Poland. Miss Supranational 2018, Valeria Vazquez Latorre will crown her successor by the end of the event.
