Post Pageant Analysis of Miss Supranational 2021

The 12th edition of Miss Supranational was held on 21st August 2021 at Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland where Chanique Rabe of Namibia was crowned Miss Supranational 2021 by the outgoing queen Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild of Thailand.

The production of the finale was spectacular with sets full of sparkles, amazing performances and elegance. The competition was successfully held in Poland as the delegates enjoyed three weeks of pre-pageant activities and participated in preliminary competitions, leading to the final show.

 

Post Pageant Analysis of Miss Supranational 2021

 

The show kicked off with a stunning opening performance by the 58 delegates from all over the world accompanied by some amazing singers including Alicja, Kasia Mos and Sabina Jeszka. The event was hosted by the very gorgeous Anna Milewska and the amazing Ivan Podrez. The pageant followed the selection of Top 24-Top-12-Top 5 as the winner and the four runner-ups were announced as her court.  

The occasion was bestowed by an esteemed judging panel including Miss Polski 2021 Agata Wdowiak, Miss Supranational 2011 Monika Lewczuk, Mister Supranational 2019 Nate Crnkovich, Miss Supranational Creative Director Andre Sleigh, Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild and Miss Supranational President Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski.

Returning after almost two years, the competition began with the stellar walk of the amazing delegates in their mesmerizing national costumes as they represented their countries with passion and grace. The stage was then blessed by the phenomenal queens in gorgeous white swimsuits as they paraded the ramp in full strength and confidence.

The charming performances were then followed by the announcement of the Top 24 contestants out of which 4 were adjudged on the basis of some pre-pageant contests. These four divas included Top Model competition winner Panama’s Darelys Yahel Santos, Supra Chat winners Valentina Sánchez Trivella from Venezuela and Jenelle Thongs from Trinidad and Tobagoand and the Supra Influencer challenge winner Kenya’s Phidelia Mutunga.

The Top 24 delegates were then introduced by the hosts as they walked the ramp representing their national designers on the international platform. It seemed like a tough decision for the jury to shortlist the next set of finalists from the batch, since every candidate has shown exemplary potential and performed exceptionally throughout the competition.

The announcement of the Top 12 finalists consisted of 11 qualifying delegates along with Indonesia’s Jihane Almira Chedid, who was announced as the winner of the Supra Fav Votes, leading her to join the other queens in the next round. As the queens were moving onto the next steps, the Mister Supranational delegates cheered and showered their support for their counterparts from the audience.

The stream of the event was very engaging as the pageant involved many amazing artists, singers and some backstage insights and conversations throughout the show. Many delegates from this year’s batch also shared their amazing experience and their journey in the beautiful city of Malopolska.

 

Miss Supranational 2021 top 5 winners

 

The pageant witnessed incredible performances from all the contestants as they paraded in their evening gowns setting the stage on fire and the last Top 5 finalists were selected, who then went through the grueling question and answer round.

Before crowning of the new queen, the organization and the delegates bid their farewell to the passing queen, Anntonia Porsild of Thaialnd, who embraced her very emotional final walk as Miss Supranational 2019-2020 with a heartfelt speech. Even though she won the title in 2019, the queen served her duties for almost two years, due to the pandemic situation, receiving an overwhelming amount of love from the world.

At the end of the event, Anntonia Porsild passed on the crown of Miss Supranational 2021 to Chanique Rabe of Namibia. Her court includes first runner-up Paloma Del Puerto Araujo of Puerto Rico, second runner-up Thato Thelma Mosehle of South Africa, third runner-up Valentina Sanchez Trivella of Venezuela and fourth runner-up Eoanna Constanza of Dominican Republic.

All in all, Miss Supranational 2021 was a successful show with an amazing batch of queens, who all were inspirational and aspirational women, from all over the world. This year’s edition was a complete package of thrill, excitement, surprises, emotions and inspirational stories, produced and hosted by the Miss Supranational organization. We wish our heartiest congratulations to the newly crowned queen, her courtship and all the other contestants for an amazing experience.
