Former Miss Supranational Anntonia Porsild confirms comeback in pageantry

Miss Supranational 2019 Anntonia Porsild is all set to make a comeback in the pageantry as she confirmed it in a recent interview. The speculations started last year after Anntonia crowned her successor at the finale of Miss Supranational 2021.

The decision as to which pageant Anntonia will be competing at is yet to be known. In our opinion, Anntonia would be a perfect fit for Miss Universe Thailand as she would be the biggest asset for the national organization and could easily make history by becoming the first to hold two major beauty pageant titles.

Anntonia was born in India to Danish father Morten Porsild and Thai mother Tanradee “Nee” Porsild. While reigning as Miss Supranational 2019, Anntonia was studying advertising and public relations at Stamford International University in Bangkok, Thailand.

Anntonia’s reign as Miss Supranational 2019 was different from the other queens. “COVID definitely hit everyone unexpectedly in a very negative way, which limited my experience with traveling, meeting everyone just really enjoying the reign that was supposed to happen. But I think having my reign in COVID actually opened my eyes, and my heart, and my mind in a different way that I don't think I would have learned if I had been able to travel as much as I was supposed to.”

“It was sad at first because we were like, oh, we're supposed to travel, but soon I tried to take advantage of the situation in a way that, I have a platform now, and people are struggling, they're at their lowest point. And if I can just be like a beacon of light or like some form of inspiration for them to kind of see things more positively, then I would want to do that”, Anntonia quoted. Anntonia will definitely be a strong contender at whichever pageant she decides to compete at. What are your views?
