The Citytv announced a month ago that ‘Bachelor in Paradise Canada’ will be coming to the network later this year and former Miss Intercontinental Canada Alice Li was chosen as the winner out of the three finalists who would be heading to paradise to find love. The beauty queen was chosen by the people of Canada and Jesse Jones who has been roped in as the host of the show broke the news to Alice via zoom call.
Alice is 27-years-old and took to her social media to announce the news officially that the beauty queen is heading to paradise to find love and she is super excited for such a great opportunity. She wrote, “Canada, the choice was yours, and you chose me! Time to get packing! I hope to give more representation to visible minorities in Canadian media and reflect the beautiful multiculturalism that our country is. I look forward to wearing a showcase of Canadian brands, talented designers, and local small businesses. Thank you so much to everyone who voted! I am overwhelmed by all the support from not only Canada but all around the world. Wow. I am speechless!”
Alice in one of her posts mentioned that being born in Beijing and raised in Toronto, she has had the privilege to enjoy the best of both worlds. The beauty queen graduated from the University of Toronto as the Class Valedictorian and has completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in accounting. She recently qualified for her CPA CA professional designation last year and looks forward to using it as a tool of empowerment.
In her free time, Alice can be found dancing on the streets of Toronto to raise donations for children’s charities and entertains the city’s millions of commuters on their daily commute with her music and every penny she earns goes to the orphan and abandoned children who have lost their families and necessities. Alice being a beauty queen understand that how much important it is for a person to represent themselves with a clear mind and intentions which will help them set an example for the coming generation so that they have a strong and positive leader to look upto. The former beauty queen mentioned, “I strive to be the best version of myself every day and be a positive role model to others. Bachelor in Paradise Canada is going to be the first spin-off season of the popular reality TV series, ‘The Bachelors’ and Alice is hopeful and positive to represent Canada with her best self and enjoy herself in the little paradise of her own.
