Miriam Carranza De Moya, nicknamed Mimi Carranza, has been confirmed as the official delegate of Colombia in Miss Supranational 2018 by the official social media of Miss Supranational. Mimi succeeds Miss Supranational Colombia 2017 Martha Martinez. Martha represented Colombia in Miss Supranational 2017 where she became the First Vice-Miss, thus Mimi has some big shoes to fill and will have to do equally well in the finale, if not better.

Mimi is 23 years of age and stands 175 cm tall. She got her degree in social communication from the Autonomous University of the Caribbean and professionally works as a journalist. Mimi is a model as well and has a very fit and healthy body. She plays tennis, does yoga and ballet to maintain her perfect beach body.

Before competing in Miss Universe Colombia 2018, Mimi also participated in Comité de Belleza Atlántico where she became Virreina Señorita Atlantico 2018, but later on became the representative of Atlantico in the coveted national competition which also goes under the name “Rumbo a Miss Universe”. She was one of Angelopedia’s Top 5 favourite contestants competing for Miss Universe Colombia 2018 as well.

The Miss Supranational Organization took to Facebook to confirm her delegacy by saying, “Mimi Carranza is our Miss Supranational Colombia 2018! She is 23 years old and stands 175 cm tall. Mimi has a degree in Social Communication and works as a journalist. Bienvenida Mimi and welcome to our family!”

Miss Supranational 2018 will be held on 7th December 2018 in Krynica-Zdrój, Poland where Miss Supranational 2017 Jenny Kim of South Korea will be crowning the new queen.
