The Finalists Costa Rica organization held the finale of the 2023 edition of the national pageant on 23rd May 2023 at Teatro Expresivo Pinares where the delegates competed for four crowns at stake; Miss International Costa Rica 2024, Miss Supranational Costa Rica 2024, Miss Eco International Costa Rica 2024 and Miss Latin America Costa Rica 2024.

At the end of the event finale, María José Segura Alvarez was crowned Miss Supranational Costa Rica 2024. She is 26 years of age and a criminal investigator and entrepreneur. She loves to exercise as it helps her maintain physical and mental health. Maria gave a strong competition to the other delegates to win the Miss Supranational Costa Rica crown.

On winning the national crown, Maria Jose took to her official social media as she wrote, “I will always keep last night in my heart! Effort, sacrifice and perseverance ALWAYS bear fruit. Thanks to the organization and their sponsors for opening their doors and believing in me. Thanks to my family, friends and collaborators for supporting me at every step. I carry with honor and pride the name of Costa Rica on my heart. Now I will start a preparation process for next year.”

Along with her, Shakira Graham was crowned Miss International Costa Rica 2024, Stacy Montero was crowned Miss Eco International Costa Rica 2024 and Adriana Núñez was crowned Miss America Latina Costa Rica 2024. These winners will now prepare to represent at their respective international pageants.
