Reinado Nacional de Belleza Cuba organization held the finale of the 2023 edition of the national pageant on 28th May 2023 where Monica Aguilar was crowned Miss Supranational Cuba 2023 as she became the official representative of Cuba at Miss Supranational 2023.

Mónica is 24 years of age and hails from the province of Camagüey. Monica comes from a family of doctors, who instilled in her a love of helping others. From an early age she knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to serving those most in need. For Monica there is nothing more gratifying than knowing that she has the possibility of healing another person in need, whether the healing is physical or spiritual.

Monica is currently a biology student with the goal of becoming a dermatologist. A volunteer leader in her community, she helps patients at a cardiovascular and internal medicine clinic. Through these experiences, she has learned the importance of cardiovascular health, mainly in the elderly, but also of prevention from an early age. A beauty with a purpose, indeed.

On winning the national crown, she took to her official social media as she penned her emotions in a post captioned, “Signing on as Miss Supranational Cuba 2023. Next month I will be traveling to Nowy Sacz, Poland to represent Cuba in Miss Supranational. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity of a lifetime and I want to thank EVERYONE who has been a part of my journey from the start.”

Miss Supranational 2023, the 14th edition of Miss Supranational will be held on 14th July 2023 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater, Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland where Miss Supranational 2022 Lalela Mswane of South Africa will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
