In a historic moment for Indonesia, Harashta Haifa Zahra has been crowned Miss Supranational 2024, becoming the first Indonesian and Muslim woman to achieve this accolade. Hailing from Garut Regency in West Java and raised in Bandung, Zahra's journey to the crown began with her early involvement in regional pageants, culminating in her crowning as Puteri Indonesia 2024 earlier this year.

Born on September 5, 2003, Zahra's passion for environmental issues developed during her formative years, influenced by her upbringing in West Java. She attended SMA Negeri 2 Bandung and is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Bandung (ITENAS).

Zahra's commitment to environmental advocacy is reflected in her initiative, the "Mother of Nature" campaign, which addresses food loss and waste management—a critical issue in her hometown. As an ambassador for Scholars of Sustenance (SOS), Zahra works tirelessly to combat food waste and its adverse effects on climate change and food security.

Her journey to Miss Supranational 2024 began with her victory as Puteri Indonesia Jawa Barat 2024, followed by her triumph in the national finals held on International Women's Day. During the pageant, Zahra impressed judges and audiences alike with her eloquence and dedication to empowering women and promoting environmental sustainability.

At the grand finale in Nowy Sacz, Lesser Poland, Zahra emerged victorious among contestants from around the globe, emphasizing the importance of women's roles in national development—a theme close to her heart. Her crowning not only celebrates her personal achievement but also highlights Indonesia's rich cultural diversity and commitment to global environmental stewardship.

Harashta Haifa Zahra's win as Miss Supranational 2024 not only signifies her individual success but also serves as an inspiration to young women worldwide, demonstrating that beauty pageants can be platforms for meaningful change and advocacy. As she continues her reign, Zahra remains dedicated to making a positive impact on environmental issues and empowering communities globally.
