The Miss Peru organization has recently announced the appointment of a new queen to represent the country at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant. “We know that she will play an incredible role in Miss Supranational. We have a great queen heading to Poland. Yely Rivera will be Peru,” they announced.

Yely Rivera is the newly appointed Miss Supranational Peru 2022. Hailing from Arequipa, 27 years-old Yely was crowned as Miss Peru 2021 last year and represented Peru at the Miss Universe 2021 pageant where she unfortunately failed to qualify among the Top 16.

Since she was 16 years old, the diva has been an independent woman, currently working as a manager in a company committed to personal and professional development and improvement, since she has always preferred to work hard for her goals and never give up. She realized early on that her life's goal was to help people, and she intends to continue working for and for her country.

Yely aspires to start an NGO that assists children and adolescents in their personal and professional development, allowing them to overcome their prior negative experiences and become successful adults. She wants to teach them what she wishes she had been taught as a child, so they don't have to carry the burden of the past with her.

As the newly appointed queen, Yely succeeds Miss Supranational Peru 2021 Solange Hermoza Rivera who represented the country at the Miss Supranational 2021 pageant and finished among the Top 24 finalists. Yely will represent Peru at Miss Supranational 2022, the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, to be held in Poland. Chanique Rabe of Namibia will crown her successor at the end of the event.
