The organization of Nuestra Belleza Puerto Rico has appointed Karla Guilfu as the new Miss Supranational Puerto Rico 2020 and she will be representing Puerto Rico at Miss Supranational 2020 which is scheduled to take place next year. She succeeds Miss Supranational Puerto Rico 2019 Shaleyka Cristine Velez for the title and is very excited to take over the crown duties.
Karla explained that from a very young age, she had a feeling that she was born to do great things; educate, inspire, and generally dedicate her life to help those around her. “I want to take this opportunity to thank the organization for having trusted me and my potential to represent our island with dignity. Likewise, to my angels Abbie, Angel, Adriel, and Erick for saying yes from day one and being by my side on this new journey. Also, I am infinitely grateful for all the support that I have already received from my family and friends. I love them,” she added.
The diva is a certified yoga instructor who has graduated with a degree in BA Psychology and is currently studying MA Counseling Psychology. She works as a professional model and has represented Puerto Rico at Miss Teen Mundial 2018 and is very grateful for the experience and the opportunity which has helped her to work on herself more and more every day.
Karla is a strong, confident, determined woman who always likes to push herself for the better and after her stint at Miss Teen Mundial 2018, she mentioned that the beauty pageant has helped her to step out of her comfort zone and try new things. She stated, “You will never know what life has in store for you if you don’t risk and give new things a chance. Believe in yourself, in your talents, your gifts and give all you got. The rest will fall into place in just a blink of an eye.”
Through her social media, the diva has explained that for a long time, she was a super shy girl, afraid to speak, low self-esteem and in general very afraid of being herself but eventually she has learnt that it is okay not to be perfect and always poise because it is important to understand that only YOU will be the one who will live YOUR life. She mentioned, “There is no one in this world like you so give the world the most valuable gift by giving what only you know how to do”. Being a certified yoga instructor, she usually posts positive and uplifting posts for her fans and followers.
Karla is beautiful and has already impressed everyone with her confidence and determination towards the crown and she could be a strong contender at Miss Supranational 2020 stage and has assured that she would perform her best at the stage.
