The 2015 edition of the Miss Teen USA pageant is going to be held on August 22’ 2015 and will stream LIVE from Atlantis, Paradise Island Resort. The reigning Miss Teen USA K. Lee Graham will crown her successor at the conclusion of the pageant. The finale will witness gorgeous contestants vying for the crown from 50 states and the District of Columbia. The delegates will compete under three categories – evening gown, swimsuit and interview.

With a new edition and new set of contestants, the organisation also introduced a brand new crown for the Miss Teen USA 2015 winner. The new Miss Teen USA 2015 crown has been designed by Diamond International Corporation, who also owns the contract of sponsoring the crown of Miss Universe and Miss USA for the next 10 years. The design is somewhat similar to the Miss Universe and the Miss USA crown, only with the stars more vividly shining and gleaming. The crown has been detailed with intricate work and defined delicate touch of femininity. However, as soon as the image of new released Miss Teen USA 2015 crown went viral, people have been showering disappointment over the crown.

Fans and ardent beauty pageant followers have gone ahead to an extent of saying that many national pageants have so much better crowns than this. Many online portals also showered some negative remarks on the crown of Miss Teen USA 2015 and pointed out the previous crowns were so much better and should be brought back to competition.

Well, nevertheless, one of the 51 fortunate contestants will be wearing the coveted crown and will be titled as the next Miss Teen USA soon. The Preliminary Competition to shortlist the finalists will be held on August 21’ 2015.
