The Miss Tourism International 2016 beauty pageant held on 31st December 2016 in Malaysia, ended with the coronation of beautiful Ariel Pearse of New Zealand.
Miss New Zealand Ariel Pearse clinched the coveted crown of Miss Tourism International 2016 after defeating 59 other contestants from all countries who competed for the title from all over the world. At the same pageant, Miss Indonesia Dikna Faradiba was titled the Miss South East Asia, Miss Mexico Ximena Delgado Mendez was adjudged the Dream Girl of the year 2016-17, Miss Australia Tasha Ross was titled the Miss Tourism Global 2016 and Miss Brazil Thaina Magalhaes finished as the Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan.

Sixty beauties participated at the 19th edition of the Miss Tourism International pageant. The finale kicked off with each contestant introducing themselves to the judges and the spectators. After rounds of contestants walking confidently in gorgeous wear and musical performances, the finalists were announced.
The Top 10 finalists were Misses Australia, Brazil, Czech Republic, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Zimbabwe. The Top 10 faced the Question and Answer round, which was mainly based on their experience and on the promotion of the host country, Malaysia.
One of the most melodious Spanish song performance complimented by the most beautiful beauties walking on the stage followed. It was time to give away the special awards. They were:
Best in Talent - Miss Malaysia
Miss Friendship - Miss Denmark (voted by contestants)
Best in Evening Wear - Miss Swaziland, Miss Paraguay, and Miss Thailand
Finally, the winners were declared. The last day of this year turned the most amazing for the titleholder who won not just the hearts of many but also made her country proud by winning an international title.
