Tia Li Taveepanichpan of Thailand was crowned Miss Tourism International 2023/24 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Saturday, 25th November 2023. Miss Tourism International pageant is not just a celebration of beauty, but it aims to promote tourism, culture and friendship.

Tia Li Taveepanichpan created history this year by creating the first back-to-back win for Thailand at Miss Tourism International 2023. The 27-year-old took home RM3,000 cash prize as well as a crown, sash and trophy. Tia bested forty-three countries to win the international crown.

Also at the finale, Emily Cossey from UK was crowned Miss Tourism Queen of The Year International 2023/24, Jeanette Reyes from Philippines was crowned Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2023/24, Jen Cheang Shi Hui from Myanmar was crowned Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International 2023/24 and Karlee Davis from Australia was crowned Miss Tourism Global 2023/24.

Filipina beauty Jeanette Reyes, along with winning the metropolitan crown, was also crowned Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress 2023/24. She took home RM2,000 as well as a crown, sash and trophy.

Best In Talent - Kaka Lao from Macao

Best In Social Media - Tania from Indonesia

Miss Closest To Nature - Emily Cossey from UK

Miss Photogenic - Emily Cossey from UK

Miss Friendship - Jen Cheang Shi Hui from Myanmar

Miss Elegant - Karlee Davis from Australia

Miss Popularity - Alpha Elianna Tan from New Zealand

The pageant was held from 10th November to 25th November 2023 with a total of 44 countries participating for the tourism finals. The pageant was also supported by State Government including the State Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment, Sabah Tourism Board, and distinguished sponsors. The theme of this year’s pageant was ‘Bringing the World to Sabah’.
