The virtual finale of Miss Tourism International 2021/22 was held tonight i.e. 19th December 2021 where Jessy Silana Wongsodiharjo of Indonesia was crowned the new queen. The finale was broadcasted live on the official social media of the organization at 10:30 PM (MYT).

With the crowning of the new queen, Vietnam’s Hoang Thi Huong Ly was also awarded as Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2021/2022. Huong Ly said she was grateful and proud of her achievements. 25 years-old Ly graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities. "I am honored to bring home one of the five crowns of the competition to my homeland," she said.

A month ago, Huong Ly recorded a video of the prom, bikini, and traditional costume contests and sent it to the organizers. She has many activities to promote Vietnam. In the talent contest, she chose to draw a map of Vietnam, asserting sovereignty over the sea and islands. Her national costume was inspired by Ao Dai, bird wings that carry a message of peace. The 25-year-old beauty also has a video promoting Hoi An heritage to the world at the contest.

Not new to pageantry, she competed in Miss Vietnam Sea 2016, entered the top 5 finalists and won the sub-title of Beauty with the best body. For the past five years, she has been active as a model, so she has experience in taking photos and performing catwalks. In 2019, she received a bronze award at the Vietnam Fashion Festival Awards in Korea.

Also, at the finale Araceli Dominguez of Paraguay was awarded Dreamgirls of the Year crown while Keinth Jesen Petrasanta of Philippines was awarded Miss Southeast Asia Tourism Ambassador title. How Zo Ee of Malaysia was awarded Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International award while Toluwalope Olarewaju of Nigeria got the Miss Tourism Global title and Lily Anni Sofia Korpela of Finland was awarded Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International.
