As Miss Tourism World 2017/2018 is about to reach its finale on 27th January 2018, the dazzling divas are busy doing the pre-finale events and photo shoots. As the photos from their recent National Costume Photo shoot have just come in, let us take a look at our Top 10 picks from Photoshoot.

Miss Tourism’s Official Facebook page posted the photo shoot on their page. They captioned, “Tourism World strongly believe in the TOURISM message of each of the countries involved in Miss Tourism and are proud to help these nations attract both domestic and international visitors and investors.”

Michelle Molina from Dominican Republic has performed consistently well till now in the competition. On the photo shoot day, she wore her traditional costume named "La Infanta del Caribe".

Dewa Ayu Windu Sari Devi from Indonesia won the title of Miss Internet 2013 and since then, there has been no looking back for her. On her photo shoot, Dewa Ayu wore her national costume ‘The Aesthetic of Rumah Gadang Eternity’ which was designed by eight indrayana kendran and is inspired from the uniqueness and splendor of rumah gadang.

The costume gives an idea of how great the ancestors of Indonesia work. She looked splendid in her outfit and rocked it like a pro.

Nazareth De Gracia Donoso from Panama looked radiant in her national costume as she graced the photo shoot.

Her outfit represented the Queen of the Congo dance of her city in Panama. Nazareth, looking gorgeous as ever, explained her costume and its importance in her introduction video which has been posted on the Miss Tourism official page.

Marian Angelu Perez Alacantara from Philippines

Marian Angelu Perez Alantacara was our most favourite contestant in the photo shoot. Already a people’s favourite, Marian has captured everyone’s attention with her dazzling smile and unique features.

Marian wore the awe-inspiring Filipina costume designed by the very talented Mr Louis Pangilinan from San Pablo City. He was also the National Costume designer of Miss Earth Karen Ibasco and BBP Universe Ariella Arida. Marian looked so beautiful in the blue traditional gown that words fail to describe it.

Hannelore Bulcke from Belgium

Hannelore Bulcke from Belgium also stood out in her national costume at the photo shoot. In her attire, she looked nothing less than a warrior princess.

Hannelore’s costume had a special meaning; it was made out of the colours of the Belgium flag – Black, red and yellow. Traditional Belgian costume is modelled after the French clothing style, which was influenced by the French occupation during World War II. The classic huntress dress is favoured by Belgian a woman who was represented by our beautiful diva.

Mercedes Pair from Hong Kong wishes to continue to discover and show the world what are the essential elements that make Hong Kong so special if she wins the coveted title of Miss Tourism World 2017/2018.

Her national costume looked like a dream with a purple cropped blouse and a blue skirt with a flowing cape. The outfit is the modern version of the traditional clothing which signifies the history of Hong Kong, making it all the more special.

Lynn Goh put on the King of Kelantan (Raja Kelantan) costume as her national costume for the photo shoot.

Explaining her costume, she wrote, “It is very rare to have the chance and yes, my greatest pleasure to get to put on the King of Kelantan (Raja Kelantan) costume as my national costume for the shooting yesterday! I bet you have heard about one of the famous legends of Malaysia- Cik Siti Wan Kembang (also known as Paduka Che Siti by the Arab traders) who is a noble and mighty warrior.

Well, there is no doubt that she looked as mighty as a queen in that majestic national costume.

Janick wishes to inspire people and create an environment for the travellers to visit her beautiful country which she represented in her traditional outfit in the photo shoot.

Andrea Catherine Gutierrez Puentes from Colombia

Andrea Catherine Gutierrez Puentes wore the national costume designed by the Santandereano designer, Alfredo Rueda in the photo shoot.

The costume has a significance for the people of Colombia; Both the peasant shirt and skirt is inspired by mothers who wake up early to till the land to provide sustenance for their children, representing the strength of the Colombian woman, of that woman who works in the countryside, but who takes care of her children with great care.
