Miss USA 2017 pageant is closer to its finale and the excitement is at its peak. The 51 gorgeous finalists of Miss USA have reached Las Vegas and the Preliminary Activities are already on track. The girls recently participated in the run-up to Preliminary Competition. The finalists paraded with confidence and composure. The event was organized at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino wherein the girls wore gorgeous swimwear, from the official sponsor- Yandy.
Now, it is time for the most-awaited Preliminary Competition which is to be held on 11th May 2017. The event will be held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, and will start at 7:00pm (US time). All the 51 contestants will compete in swimwear and stunning evening gown in front of a panel of preliminary judges. The scores from the night’s event along with an interview portion will help determine the Semi-finalists during the Miss USA broadcast. The event will be hosted by Alex Wehrley and Deshauna Barber.

Vanessa Gringer: She is a Senior Director of Commercial Endorsements and Business Development at WME/IME.
Nancy Lublin: Nancy is known to be the Founder of Crisis Text Line. She was also CEO of DoSomething.org for twelve years.
Nick Light: He is the Senior Vice President of Artist Development & Touring for Sony Music Entertainment.
Carole Gist: She is a renowned TV host, model and first African American lady to win the prestigious Miss USA 1990 title.
Brook Lee: Lee is the only native Hawaiian to grab the Miss Universe Crown. This year marks the 20th anniversary of her being crowned as Miss Universe 1997.
Maura McGreevy: A Senior VP of Corporate Communications at IMG, a global leader in Sports, Fashion and Media running in more than 30 Countries across the world.
Halima Aden: A 19 year old model who took the fashion world by storm recently. She competed in Miss Minnesota USA pageant in a hijab and Burkini.
At the time of interview they were asked what are they looking for in the next Miss USA 2017?
Halima Aden: “I am looking for someone who has a presence and who personifies the modern woman of 2017. She is smart, classy, and beyond beautiful. She can turn heads and then make powerful and positive change in this world with the attention and notoriety she receives.”
Brook Lee: “I am looking for the woman that is READY to take on the rigorous duties that are required of this job. Having done it myself, I know it is more than just pictures and public appearances.”
Nancy Lublin: “I’m looking for someone with humor. I think it's the most important and most underrated quality in a role model.”
The contestants are all geared up for the pageant and all the eyes are on the most promising ones. Miss USA pageant is an annual National beauty pageant held in the US to choose representatives for the prestigious Miss Universe pageant. Deshauna Barber from District of Columbia was declared as the winner of the prestigious title of Miss USA 2016 and will crown her successor at the finale of Miss USA 2017 to be held on 14th May 2017.
