Oxana Fedorova of Russia, the 2002 Miss Universe titleholder, has raised her voice against the media which used her to try and ruin Trump’s campaign, expecting to get some dirt on him. But the beauty queen says, “But I only had a positive, favourable impression after interacting and working with him.”

The western media constantly harassed Oxana in order to get some comment on Donald Trump which they can use to derail his image. Fedorova was annoyed with this behavious and expressed her frustration by sharing that, “During the election campaign, I was often bothered by various international media that tried to find a loophole and defame him.”

Trump has been surrounded by controversies during the Elections due to his harsh comments on Miss Universe 1996 Alicia Machado and on Mexican emigrants. Hillary Clinton raised the issue during the campaign and slammed him for his treatment of women.

The new President is the ex-owner of Miss Universe pageant from 1996 to 2015. According to Oxana, Trump “took care of her”. She continued to praise him saying, “Trump acquitted himself as a man of worth with an open mind.”

The former Miss Universe wishes the man success. She hopes that Trump will “bring more benefits than his forerunners. What will his term be like? Time will tell.”
